Most Insurers and Adjudicators of Employee Benefit Plans take up to one or more weeks to pay Health and Dental claims, but at MDM our clients’ claims are paid within 24 hours of receipt and normally the same day.
Underwriting and claims payment is done in our office, not subcontracted out.
Our Pay-Direct drug card, the MDM Guard Card, offers greater flexibility at a lower cost to the employer.
MDM’s volume buying power directly results in a reduction in overall premium costs.
Our PC-based customized computer program reduces administration costs, allows us to develop and upgrade with technology, and to tailor group plans to meet our clients’ specific needs.
Our Early Intervention Program ensures that an employee absent from work due to illness or injury is provided assistance or additional heath care support, in co-operation with their physician, employer, or through the coordination of specialists.

Administrative Standards

Health and Dental claims are normally paid within 24 hours of being received. Claims received in the morning are processed and cheques are dropped off at the post office the same afternoon.
Incomplete claim forms are seldom returned for correction. Corrections can be completed over the phone and claims are still processed the very same day.
Disability claims are processed within 24 hours of being received, pending the need for additional medical information.
Emergency claims can be processed the same day.
Personalized employee benefit booklets, wallet cards, and Pay-Direct Cards are available to the company before the plan starts. Health and Dental claims are paid the first day the plan becomes effective.
Benefit booklets, wallet cards, and Pay-Direct Cards are produced and sent, within 24 hours of notice of change or addition to a group plan.
Predetermination for dental benefits can be completed by fax the same day.
Lost or misplaced claim cheques will be replaced within 24 hours.
The Administrator of your company’s benefit plan will spend less time with individual employee administration as a direct result of our simplified, automated administrative process.
A claimant’s question will be addressed by a Claims Adjudicator.
